Blue Minds is a space dedicated to sharing fresh perspectives on ocean law, policy, and governance. It brings together students and early-career researchers — mostly from NOVA School of Law, but also from other universities and disciplines — who are passionate about the future of our blue planet.

This platform celebrates new ideas, curiosity, and critical reflection. It invites emerging thinkers to explore the legal, social, and environmental dimensions of the ocean through three publication types:

• Blue Insights – short reflections and commentaries offering original views on ocean affairs.
• Blue Essays – analytical articles that dive deeper into legal and policy challenges.
