“Mar e Direito em Contexto” gathers works produced by the Master students of Law and Economics of the Sea – Ocean Governance. The book is divided in three main topics: sustainability aspects; management and use of maritime space and ocean in the social and economic context. The thematic diversity reveals the interdisciplinary character of the master as well as its global approach.

Launched in the year of the UN Ocean Conference, this book aims to contribute to the education connected to the ocean which is key for the sustainable economic development.
